ll books affect my life in the moment that I’m reading, but there have been some that have affected me more for one reason or another. There is one book, and I just happen to have read it right after my husband died, and that book has stayed with me to the point I haven’t read a book by that author since.
I'm really careful about reading book reviews because some of them contain spoilers. I usually read them after I finished the book. Book reviews are important for authors, regardless of whether it's negative or positive feedback.
I would say every book I've read has affected my life in some way. I have learned a lot about relationships, both romantic and otherwise (familial or friendships), through reading fiction- from how to treat others, to how to expect to be treated, to how a real loving relationship should be.
